A day for all of those who have been spurned and have somehow survived it.
There is one line that has stuck in my head and it is "we accept the love we think we deserve."
Coincidentally this quote is from the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky where the main character is named Charlie.
See how that all works out? My mind is brilliant.
This book is about a freshman named Charlie (obviously) who is shy, intelligent, and a little socially awkward. Some older classmates take Charlie under their wing and help him broaden his horizons. he is introduced into the world of sex, drugs, alcohol, first dates, and new friends. This coming of age novel allows an inside look into the lives of teenagers attempting to grow up.
While this book was made into a movie, I suggest you read the book first. I always say that don't I?
