Series: The Game #2
"It’s either break the rules or die.
Miki Jones lives her life by her own strict set of rules, to keep control, to keep the gray fog of grief at bay. Then she’s pulled into the Game, where she—and her team—will die unless she follows a new set of rules: those set by the mysterious Committee.
But rules don’t mean answers, and without answers, it’s hard to trust. People are dying. The rules are unraveling. And Miki knows she’s being watched, uncertain if it’s the Drau or someone—something—else. Forced to make impossible choices and battling to save those she loves, Miki begins to see the Committee in a glaring new light.
And then the Game crosses a new boundary, pushes harder into Miki’s and her friends’ lives, and there’s nothing in the rules that can save them now.
Push is the sequel Rush fans will be screaming for."
After the major cliffhanger at the end of Rush, fans will be happy to know that the big question will be answered within the first few pages! Thank goodness right! I was dying to know what happened to Jackson and I only had to wait a few days. Now with the new cliffhanger at the end of Push, I'm going to have to wait for MONTHS. I'm not very good at waiting. Sorry, not sorry.
This book posed more questions than answers, especially with how the book ended! There was so much build up for the next book that nothing monumental really happened. All of it was set up, which I'm fine with. I like when books have the foresight to pose questions that will be answered in the sequels to come. It makes everything seem connected.
In this novel, it seemed as thought Miki was having an identity crisis. She stopped counting her fathers bottles, she stopped being so uptight with what she ate, and she stopped cleaning like a maniac. Everything that she was, she started letting go of. It makes me wonder where she will be mentally in the next book.
I'm still waiting for the answer to one question: How can Jackson be half Drau?! That is the main question that I want answered! It's driving me CRAZY not knowing!
The Game in this novel started to change. The rules, the team, the locations. Nothing is as it was in the first novel. I have a sense that shit is going to go down in the last novel. With everything changing it makes me think that The Committee is loosing their grip on the war and all hell is going to break loose. It makes me excited to read the next installment.
As of right now, I do not know the name of the third book in The Game series, nor do I have a release date to share. I am just going to sit here hoping and praying that it will not take too long. Cause I need answers.
Make sure you read The Game series by Eve Silver ASAP! They are amazing books totally worth your time!
